That energy (also known as 'Chi') finds it own path to wherever the body needs it. As a Reiki Master/Teacher I use my hands to help comfort and activate universal energy and awaken a recipient's ability to contribute to their own healing process.
Reiki was part of my self healing journey that led to my being 'cancer free' without intervention from Traditional medicines. Jennifer Dewar was my Reiki Teacher and she also introduced me to the Labyrinth that she created with rocks in her back yard. This Labyrinth is a quiet place in nature where walking the path of the labyrinth can be a compliment to Reiki sessions and classes. Her practice serves as a 'Reiki Healing Sanctuary' in Billerica MA yoganana@comcast.net On the day that I received my Reiki Master Teacher certification we both walked the Chartres Labyrinth at Boston College, Boston, MA. The B.C. labyrinth was dedicated to the 22 alumni lost in the 9/11 tragedy.
I am grateful to my oncologist at Brigham and Women's who acknowledged my wishes that I try spiritual healing while in his care. His compassion and professionalism was appreciated.

As a teacher for over 30 years, I practiced holistic thinking using Dr, Georgi Lozanov's methods on how to tap into the reserve complex of the brain. I bring my teaching skills to holistic healing where others can be inspired to seek their own inner strengths, to balance and understand their own innate healing to cope with the stresses of daily living.
I believe that when we heal ourselves we defer to the physician within us. I did this plus using the complementary healing techniques along with Peggy Huddleston's Relaxation/Healing tape, I was able to heal and become cancer - free.

As an independent ULC minister I officiate Inter-faith Spiritual, and non-Spiritual wedding services at a place of your choice, indoor reception area or other location out/in doors in a friendly area acceptable for a wedding ceremony. As your wedding Officiant, I will assist you in personalizing your vows. You can include family members/friends with readings so they can participate in your wedding ceremony. If you have chosen a ceremony and written your own vows for your special day, that's great .
At present I am focusing on mindfulness and the art of Reiki. I offer Reiki to people in their homes and also volunteer my Reiki skills at Youville House, a 95-unit assisted-living residence. Youville was founded by the Sisters of Charity of Montreal in 1895, and is named for their founder, Saint Marguerite d'Youville.
Also on the Youville campus is Youville Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre which is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (ICAHO) and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
